Korean Music + Biases

Korean Music + Biases
I posted last week about the Korean dramas and biases.
It would have been too long to post about both in 1 entry so I decided splitting in 2 sections was better.
This is my outlet as I do not have very many friends who like Korean music.

I have to admit the fact that I totally am a full-on boy band girl, but there are a few solo artists I like too.
I first listened to BoA, who is the “queen of Korean pop” when I was about 17-18 years old.
I fell in love with her music and occasionally still listen to her even now.
Then I was introduced to CNBLUE, which stands for Code Name Blue about 4½ years ago
They were my very first boy band I ever listened to and it was around this time I started getting into just boy band groups.
I started listening to SHINee, Super Junior, ZE:A, BTOB, EXO, and VIXX for other boy band groups.
The only boy band group that is not active is ZE:A which they are on hiatus until a comeback is decided.
Some members have been focusing on solo activities while others join other entertainment agencies.
I hope they decide to come back to the music world at some point in the future.

Currently favorite idols:
Jonghyun (SHINee)
John Park
Lee Hoo
Minhyuk (CNBLUE)
Minhyuk (BTOB)

Currently favorite songs
Ring Ding Dong
The SHINee World
Would We Have Changed

Currently favorite drama soundtrack songs:
Alive (Moorim School)
Even If I Die, It’s You (Hwarang)
Fire (Moorim School)
For You (Cinderella and Four Knights)
For You (Scarlet Heart Ryeo)
I Believe (Cinderella and Four Knights)
K2 Theme Song (The K2)
Peterpan(The Liar and His Lover)
Pray (School 2015)
Stand Up (To The Beautiful You)

Korean Dramas + Biases

My newest blog article will be about my Korean actor crushes or some might say “biases.”
In my definition of bias/biases: it means liking some actors or idols more than others.
A very intense version of fangirling, but only pertaining to specific korean actors or idols in my case.
As I don’t have very many friends who like Korean dramas; this is sort of like my outlet.
I have been watching Korean dramas for about the last 5 years; literally so addicted to the point of being an addict holic.
Mostly drawn to the saeguk genre, but will watch others if they peak my interest.
Saeguk is historical or time period based dramas although it might not be completely accurate; there is some pretty interesting history to learn about.

My 2 all-time favorite actors:
Lee Min-ho
Lee Joon-hyuk
The reason these 2 are my all-time favorite is character portrayal is always on point and their acting is so amazing.
I'd love to see another drama with both of them again, but that's just my wishful thinking.

My current favorite actors:
Park Hae-jin
Jung Yonghwa
Lee Jonghyun
Hong Jonghyun
Lee Joon-gi
Lee Jong-suk
Park Hyungsik
Im Siwan
Byun Baekhyun
Nam Joo-hyuk
Kim Ji Soo
Do Ji-han
Lee Seo-won

update (?)

Sorry, it has been a very long time since I last updated.

So it is almost 5 years since I started learning Korean and about Korea itself.
I haven't been able to study Korean for about 2 years, but will be added again soon.
Although I do watch a ton of Korean dramas and incredibly addicted. lol
My favorite genre is saeguk or in English; historical or time period dramas.

I mostly listen to Korean music or drama soundtracks.
It is very very rare that I will stray outside my comfort zone and listen to other music.
Occasionally I will listen to Pentatonix, Peter Hollens, Lindsey Stirling or one of my many playlists.
I normally listen to whatever my mood is at the time, but sometimes might just randomly pick a playlist and not really care what it is.

Otherwise, I am pretty active and busy in real life, which is why I never had time to update.
I prefer being busy than bored out of my mind; it feels better to stay occupied.
There's always a few ongoing projects or catching up on the neverending reading list.

Loom Knitting
Recipe Books (for friends)
Writing (getting back into it)
